Franklin County commissioners on Jan. 8 approved the consent agenda, which included meeting minutes and claim vouchers, and separately approved annual software maintenance renewal invoices.
The consent agenda listed meeting minutes from Dec. 18, claim vouchers totaling $328,479.98, a tax change order of negative $12, and payroll in the amount of $1,425,146.52. A motion to approve the consent agenda passed on a voice vote with Commissioners Soudemeyer, Harris, Dunn, Dickinson and Chair Weymeyer recording affirmative votes.
Dustin (last name not specified) presented the annual software maintenance renewals, noting one product had been reduced to a first-quarter purchase because the county plans to end that product in March as part of a software project. He said most vendor costs were flat or near historic levels and that Tyler Technologies’ public-safety contract returned to a 5% increase after a 6% increase the prior year. Dustin said the VPN/mobile wireless service supports county public-safety operations and that portions of its cost are billed to Wellsville and Ottawa based on usage.
A motion to approve the annual software maintenance renewal invoices passed on a voice vote. Commissioners Dunn, Dickinson, Soudemeyer, Harris and Chair Weymeyer recorded affirmative votes; no opposing votes were recorded.
No further amendments or public objections to these items were recorded in the transcript.
