Yamhill County’s Board of Commissioners on Jan. 23 approved the consent agenda that included reappointments to the Fair Board, a parks board appointment and surplus-vehicle determinations.
The board reappointed Joan Nyberg, Leslie Lewis and Greg Wildhower to the Fair Board and appointed Leslie Anderson to fill an open seat on the Parks Board. The consent agenda also included authorization to dispose of several surplus vehicles assigned to the Parks Department.
Separately, the board approved a walk-on amendment to the county liaison list that returned soil-and-water and the Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) connections to the commissioner responsible for planning, and clarified voting/nonvoting memberships for certain intergovernmental groups. The change was described as clerical and organizational; commissioners said the revisions were intended to balance workloads and ensure appropriate staff contacts for liaison duties.
A motion to approve the consent agenda and the amended liaison list passed by voice vote.
