The MPO said the award pool for those competitive projects totals $3,000,000; staff reported roughly $500,000 has been spent so far. An award for the Archie Briggs crossing carried an unspent balance of about $100,000; MPO staff said their engineering group will follow up to decide whether that remainder will be used for further design or revert to the program.
