Easton School Committee accepts four retirements at Richardson Olmsted; committee thanks long‑serving teachers

The Easton School Committee on Jan. 23 accepted four retirement letters from long‑time teachers at Richardson Olmsted School.

The retirees and service: the committee read and accepted resignation letters from (as read at the meeting) Alice Chase (Grade 5 teacher, ~22 years in district), Patricia “Patty” Siegel (Grade 5 teacher, ~18 years), Megan St. Martin (Grade 4 teacher, ~33 years) and Marybeth Harkins (special education learning specialist, ~24 years including paraprofessional service). Each teacher’s letter expressed gratitude for colleagues and students and pledged to assist with a smooth transition through the end of the 2024–25 school year; all retirements are effective June 30, 2025.
