Ivins City Council approved a second addendum to the memorandum of understanding with Rocky Vista University on March 6 to permit university-organized events in 2025 under the same terms used previously, with updated dates.
Council member Dale (last name not specified) said the document mirrors last year’s agreement except for updated dates and that university approval remained pending because the university has a new review process and must send the addendum through its legal department and board. The council chose to approve the addendum so municipal authorization is in place pending university sign-off; staff said if Rocky Vista requests minor adjustments the agreement can be revisited.
The motion passed by unanimous voice vote.
