District staff said mathematics results rose districtwide and that Vista Verde posted improvements across several measures, including chronic absenteeism and suspension rates. The presentation showed mathematics up 4.9 points districtwide while English language arts remained essentially flat; district staff noted that ELA remained in the lower performance band and that English-learner progress had declined.
