Mifflin County commissioners approved a corrected two‑year service agreement with AAA Electrical Inspections to provide electrical inspections and determine necessary electrical upgrades for properties in the county home‑rehabilitation program. Commissioners also approved an amended service proposal with contractor Carter Mitchell to add a fifth home to the program at a rate of $90 per hour. Staff reported that three of the five homes have already been inspected by Carter Mitchell and that the county anticipates going out to bid in April for work on two or three of the properties; staff noted that some homes may require more extensive upgrades than others.
