Council told to approve $5,800 in street sweeper repairs before spring season

No formal contract award or final purchase order was voted at the meeting; staff said they would bring the recommendation forward for formal consideration under liquid fuels funding.
The discussion also touched on recent downtown cleanup work to remove cinders mixed with salt from winter operations, and staff noted they had assisted with cleaning for a library grand opening earlier the same day.
