- Land use: The council approved the final plat for Barton Villas, a proposed 1.1-acre subdivision of 13 townhome lots and two stormwater non-buildable lots off Barton Road; and Western Skies Division 4, subdividing about 6.94 acres into 28 residential lots. Staff recommended approval with conditions for both plats.
- Grants and public safety: The council accepted FEMA-funded 2024 State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) funding administered through the Idaho Office of Emergency Management to support Regional Response Team 6 (hazmat) and Idaho Technical Rescue Team 3A. Fire Chief Ryan O'Hearn told the council the state has warned of possible delays in reimbursement processing; he said staff will submit reimbursement requests more frequently to avoid extending expenditures without reimbursement.
