Council ratifies road-impact agreement with Northside Hospital Cherokee

Mr. Ingram, a city staff member, explained that last summer Northside requested three-way participation for construction of a new hospital entrance—costs estimated around $600,000—and the city, county and Northside agreed to participate. Northside also requested reimbursement via road-impact fee credits for its portion. The council reviewed a formal development agreement that memorializes the previously agreed arrangement.
Don Hossfeld, representing Northside Hospital Cherokee, attended the meeting. After staff confirmed the agreement matched the earlier terms and the city attorney reviewed the document, a council member moved to approve the development agreement. The motion passed unanimously. The council’s vote authorizes the city to enter the formal road-impact fee development agreement with Northside Hospital Cherokee as presented at the meeting.
