Brigham City dissolves X‑20 redevelopment project area as tax increment sunsets

The Brigham City Redevelopment Agency and Brigham City Council took matching actions March 6 to dissolve the Bridal City X‑20 economic development project area after the project’s tax‑increment revenue reached its sunset.

At the start of the evening the Redevelopment Agency convened briefly, approved prior RDA meeting minutes and adopted a resolution dissolving the Bridal City X‑20 economic development project area (created February 2005). The agency motion to adopt the resolution was moved by Board Member Hipp and seconded by Board Member Smith; the resolution passed by voice vote.
