The Homelessness Oversight Commission on March 6 approved a competitively procured contract with Glide Foundation to operate a Transitional‑Age‑Youth (TAY) Health and Wellness Center at 888 Post Street, co‑located with a TAY navigation center.
Acting shelters manager Luis Bracco presented the contract (RFP #147) and asked the commission to approve an initial term from June 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2027. The contract budget is $7.8 million in new funding plus a 20% contingency (1.56 million), for a not‑to‑exceed total of $9,360,000. HSH staff said the funding source is 100% state HAP4 (Homeless Assistance and Prevention) grant funding.
Bracco said the TAY Health and Wellness Center will operate 24/7 and is expected to serve about 75 unique TAY per day.…
