The nomination, prepared by Catherine Petrin for the Northeast San Francisco Conservancy, proposes a district whose period of significance runs from 1906 to 1965 and argues eligibility under National Register criteria A (community planning and social/ethnic history) and C (architecture). After a multi‑hour public discussion, the commission voted 6‑0 to transmit staff comments and the commission’s resolution to the State Historical Resources Office and SHRC for their Feb. 7 review.
