Gartner finds opportunities for statewide IT efficiencies, urges continued agency engagement

Gartner consultants told the Joint Committee on Information Technology that an initial landscape assessment for the IT integration plan (mandated by Senate Bill 291) found statewide opportunities to standardize tools, reduce redundancy and improve service delivery, but stressed that agency engagement is critical to produce an implementable roadmap.
