Committee members said mowing and routine cleaning work are scheduled weekly and that building services have issued RFPs for paving the driveway between Lexington High School’s gymnasium and the stadium and for new flooring at the central office. The committee reported that mobile units at Southwest and South Lexington are scheduled for removal in the near term.
A committee member raised HVAC needs above the cafeteria and in an art room and said Davidson County agreed to incur part of the cost; the total project cost was discussed in the meeting and referenced as approximately $500,000 (committee said county would incur $300,000 of that total). The committee presenter asked staff for confirmation on the schedule and the status of contractor solicitations.
