The Gunnison City Planning and Zoning Commission elected Debbie Greener chair and Commissioner Jill vice chair at the start of its Jan. 29 meeting. Nominations for both positions were made from the floor and each office was approved by voice vote.
Commissioner Vern nominated Debbie Greener for chair; the nomination was seconded and approved with commissioners responding “Aye.” Commissioner Vern then nominated Jill for vice chair; Jill accepted and the nomination was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Commissioners noted the positions are held for one year and are reappointed each January. The newly elected chair presided over subsequent public‑hearing business that night.
