Ron told the board he had submitted registration for the domain snydervillecemeteryut.gov, but the registration status was still pending. Will recommended using the county site in the short term and building a separate district site before the July 1 URL change deadline.
Directors agreed the district should take time to develop branding and content rather than rush the launch. Amy, a county staff member who manages postings, confirmed she can post agendas and minutes to the current county-controlled site and had already posted this month’s materials. Will proposed a small ad hoc committee to oversee the website and branding; Dan volunteered. The chairman said he will appoint subcommittees as needed.
The board also asked staff to preserve minutes and to explore automated timestamping and AI-assisted meeting notes to reduce manual work. The board did not adopt a final site design at the meeting and will revisit the topic next month.
