Commissioners briefly discussed waiting for the IT director to arrive, but proceeded when staff confirmed details. The purchase was approved by voice vote after a motion from a commissioner and a second.
The board directed that funding for the subscription come from the county's 2025 technology training and equipment budget line item. Staff said the subscription model is now standard for Microsoft Office licensing and will be renewed annually under current pricing unless otherwise directed.
