Scott Howard, Atchison County IT director, described two routine purchases the county is renewing and asked the commission to approve purchase orders.
Howard said GoTo Central is the county’s remote-support tool used to access and troubleshoot county computers remotely. “GoTo, central base is our remote support software,” he said.
The board approved a purchase order for GoTo Central, quantity 250, for $3,480. The motion passed with the commission voting in favor.
Howard also described the county’s annual maintenance agreement with Computer Information Concepts (CIC), which supports the county’s accounting suite and modules used by the tax administration, motor vehicle, public works and other departments. The renewal amount presented was $52,005; Howard said the increase included costs related to an employee portal and time-clock integration.
The commission moved and approved the CIC annual maintenance purchase order as presented.
Ending: The IT purchases were approved as county operational expenses; Howard said he would circulate vendor documents and purchase orders for signature.
