Items on the consent agenda included minutes of the Dec. 23 meeting; fuel quotes for city departments; a location change for a special on-sale alcoholic beverage application tied to a chamber mixer; several personnel items; and payment of the bills.
Personnel actions included granting full-time status to Chauncey Phillips in the street/solid waste maintenance role effective Dec. 30, accepting seasonal employment for John Todd as a CDL truck driver for the solid waste department, and accepting seasonal employment for Carissa Schroeder as a recreation assistant for parks and recreation.
The commission also announced holiday hours: the solid waste department rubble site will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1, with no impact to curbside pickup; the yard-waste drop-off site remains open as a self-service location. City offices will be closed on Jan. 1 in observance of New Year’s Day.
The consent agenda approval and the holiday-hour announcements were approved by roll call during the meeting.
