Prince George's County Revenue Authority details Suitland, Creative Suitland and other development projects

Denise Robinson, executive director of the Prince George's County Revenue Authority, told the PHED Committee on March 6 that the authority is focusing development finance and project work on several county corridors, with an early emphasis on Suitland Town Center and Creative Suitland.
Robinson described completed projects and current pipeline items. She said the Revenue Authority issued a conduit bond to refinance the Hamilton Manor Apartments, a 245-unit garden-style complex acquired through the county's right-of-first-refusal program and completed in 2023. She also noted the authority manages the 1,109-space, seven-level parking garage built for Capital Regional Medical Center, completed in 2021.
Robinson and Chief Real Estate Officer Nicole Hall presented concept goals for Suitland Town Center: encourage diverse housing types and income mixes, create a safe and walkable pedestrian network, manage parking through creative (including structured) solutions, and expand retail and employment opportunities.…
