Walker said the work will be coordinated with ADA improvements required by the county and that the contractor is a local MWBE vendor.
Commissioner Patel asked about the project timeline; Walker said restroom work will start in May in conjunction with a Crown Ballroom renovation and the county expects to finish the restroom work within about a year while coordinating construction with the Coliseum’s event schedule.
Commissioner Tyson moved to accept L & L Drywall as the lowest responsive bidder at $835,363; the motion passed unanimously.
