The Cottonwood Heights City Planning Commission on March 5, 2025, took three procedural actions:
- The commission voted to continue item CUP-24-019 (and related SUB-24-008) to the April 2, 2025, Planning Commission meeting. Commissioner Mills moved to continue the item and Commissioner Smith seconded. Commissioners Stoneman, Barnes, Smith, Mills, Shelton, Paulson and Anderson voted yes.
- The commission approved the consent agenda, adopting the Feb. 5, 2025, Planning Commission meeting minutes. Commissioner Simon moved approval and Commissioner Fulsen seconded; the motion passed on a voice vote.
- The commission approved a motion to adjourn the March 5 meeting. Commissioner Smith made the motion and Commissioner Shelton seconded; the motion passed on a voice vote.
The continuation vote included a staff clarification that if the applicant proposes a different use type within neighborhood commercial, the application would have to be re-noticed and would restart the review process. The continuation took effect immediately; the item will appear on the commission agenda on April 2 if the applicant returns under the live-work use type that retains the existing case number.
