City Manager Mike Tippen told the council the county’s $100,000 would be the final pledged amount for the revenue guarantee; the city has so far received about $1,600,000 toward the guarantee, Tippen said, and would cover remaining shortfalls if necessary. Tippen recommended the mayor send a letter thanking the county but asking that the funds be provided without the stipulations the Board of Supervisors attached.
