Sullivan read the proposed recommendation into the record, asking that the commission endorse the DEIS "with the following additional comments": that replacement parkland be identified and secured nearby with public input before construction at a minimum ratio of 1.5 times the loss; that parking garages at phase 1 endpoints be constructed so they can later be redeveloped if less parking is needed; that Austin Transit Partnership (ATP) review operations and maintenance facilities (OMFs) in other communities and present comparisons to the Austin public before final OMF decisions; that more maps indicating flood plains be included in the final EIS; and that a better,…
