Committee approves technical correction to naloxone access bill, emphasizing quick access to antidote

Hawkins thanked staff counsel for drafting the correction and said the change appears in parts of the bill that adjust definitions in lines '6 and '7 of the substitute. Representative Gamble praised the revision and called it “a great measure” supported by the working group on addiction recovery.
The committee voted to pass the corrected language and sent the bill to rules with a due-pass recommendation.
