Bellevue council approves rezoning, public-works contracts and multiple city purchases in unanimous votes

Bellevue City Council voted unanimously on a series of ordinances, contracts and purchases at its March 4 meeting, approving a rezoning and preliminary plat for the Quail Crossing development, adopting code changes to the city plumbing regulations and authorizing multiple public-works contracts and equipment purchases.
The council approved ordinance No. 4,176 to change zoning for the Quail Crossing property at South 40 Second Street and Highway 370, and separately approved the preliminary plat for Lots 1–6 and Out Lots A and B (Quail Crossing). The council also adopted ordinance No. 4,178 to vacate a portion of Lot 7 in Trageran Town Center, and approved ordinance No. 4,180 to amend Bellevue’s adoption of the 2021 Uniform Plumbing Code after a public hearing and suspension of the usual three readings.
