The village of Wellington will hold its Earth and Arbor Day event on Saturday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wellington Amphitheater, village staff told the Tree Board.
Marcus Lockhart, community event specialist for the Village of Wellington, told the board the event will “feature earth friendly vendors, activities, and a raffle drawing for a fire bush,” and that volunteers for the Great American Cleanup will leave the amphitheater at 9:30 a.m. and return about 10:30 a.m. He asked the board to host youth activities such as seed planting and to share vendor contacts with village staff.
