Principals report enrollment changes, student achievements and spring activities

Middle‑school staff described participation in a spelling bee and a choir contest; one student, Josie Melton, won the local bee and qualified for a regional contest. The middle school choir received a rating of "good" at the OSSAA District Contest; several soloists received superior or excellent ratings.
High‑school staff highlighted student successes in visual arts and writing: students placed in a statewide art competition at the Sutton Center and a freshman, Zoe Hall, was selected for publication in a writing contest sponsored by the Oklahoma Writing Project. Athletics updates noted area tournament play for girls’ and boys’ basketball and baseball season openings; the board was invited to upcoming performances and games.
Building leaders also described fundraising efforts, including a spellathon with new online donation capabilities using a district PayPal account and QR codes. Several principals noted the value of older students visiting younger classes for agricultural and outreach programs.
