Entertainment Commission directors cite unpermitted shows, direct inspectors to deprioritize one bar

The commission’s senior inspector reported that staff received multiple 311 complaints and that inspectors issued notices/citations to venues found operating without the required entertainment permits or exceeding approved sound limits. Inspector Youngreis and other EC staff issued a notice of violation to Heron Arts for operating entertainment without a permit after an inspector was initially denied entry, and issued a citation to Barbies at 4541 Mission Street after observing a DJ and loud interior sound.
