Psychologist urges Medicaid 'medication guides' and database to track psychotropic prescriptions for children

Watson told the committee the proposal is intended to improve informed consent and to give parents and caregivers actionable information about side effects, risks and alternative interventions. "They created medication guides, which were very easy to read... they were meant to be, for parents and for people, like caregivers, to say, hey. This is important information," Watson said.
