The Alcohol Licensing Advisory Committee reopened and completed a missed public hearing and approved an expansion of Franklin Street Tavern's licensed premises to include an outdoor café at 13 North Franklin Street.
The committee briefly opened the public hearing and, finding no speakers who wished to testify, closed it and then voted to approve the expansion. Committee member Miller made the motion to approve; Bumpus seconded. The chair called for a voice vote and announced the motion passed unanimously.
Staff noted the public hearing was held because a required in-person hearing had been missed at the prior meeting; no additional conditions were recorded during the March 4 proceeding.
Motion and vote: Motion by Miller, second by Bumpus to approve Franklin Street Tavern's expansion to include the outdoor café; approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
