SFUSD board approves three expulsions; students assigned to Civic Center program or alternative middle school

The board then approved a stipulated expulsion agreement for a second high‑school student (matter number 2024‑2025‑21) imposing a one‑calendar‑year expulsion from the date of approval; President Kim said that student also “will be placed at Civic Center during the expulsion period.” That motion passed on a 7–0 roll call vote.
A third motion approved a stipulated expulsion agreement for one middle‑school student (matter number 2024‑2025‑22) imposing a one‑calendar‑year expulsion from the date of approval. President Kim said that during the suspended expulsion period the middle‑school student “will attend a comprehensive middle school from 2 school options provided by SFUSD.” That motion also passed 7–0.
The board did not discuss details of the underlying incidents during the public readout.
