The board approved its meeting agenda as posted and unanimously approved the minutes from the April 14, 2025 meeting.
Nancy Jinx accepted the chair nomination and told members she had both paid and volunteer experience and said she was familiar with procedural rules. She said, "I say thank you, for the support, and I thank you to my new co member for the second, very much so. I have quite a bit of, experience, knowledge, both in a paid situation and also in a volunteer situation, leading and sharing and knowing also, Robert's rule of orders. So I look forward to leading and uniting us as we continue on." The board then voted by roll call to confirm her as chair.
A member volunteered to serve as vice chair and was nominated and seconded; the member told the board this was her second stint as vice chair. The board approved that selection by voice vote with no nays recorded.
Board members voted to approve the meeting agenda as presented and to adopt the minutes of the April 14, 2025 meeting. Roll-call votes were recorded during the meeting and returned unanimous approval for the items brought before the board.
The board handled the leadership and routine administrative items at the start of the meeting before moving on to scheduling an evidentiary hearing on a pending complaint.
