Public Health and Social Services requests amendment adding funding and program statements to DOH contract

Fryhite said the amendment adds statements of work for three programs (workforce development grant, prenatal [LEHI?] and immunization-promotion activities) and amends the statements of work for seven other program buckets. He said the amendment provides an additional $43,036,100 "for a maximum consideration of $6,091,760" from Jan. 1, 2025, to Dec. 31, 2027; staff said several invoices were pending and that an Amendment No. 7 is expected in July with further changes driven by recent federal developments.
Staff characterized part of the amendment as routine invoicing and funding adjustments; they noted workforce-development funds were scheduled to end June 30 and that the amendment extends some program spending to address timing. Commissioners did not vote on the contract amendment at the work session; staff said the item will be on the upcoming business meeting agenda for action once materials are finalized.
Public Health staff said they are preparing an overview of the various funding sources for future board review.
