Commissioner Raimondo introduced the item and answered legislators’ questions about the bid review. Legislators moved and seconded the authorization; the motion carried by voice vote.
County staff did not disclose the dollar value of the contract in the meeting record presented to the legislature. The administration said the procurement followed the county’s bid qualification process, including evaluation of contractor apprenticeship programs and prior experience.
