Board adopts technical fix to zoning ordinance to restore stream overlay standard

Kevin Cook, senior planner with the Department of Community Services, told the board the earlier ordinance (No. 1330, passed Nov. 21) unintentionally left out a single standards reference that applies to stream overlays. Cook characterized the change as a “simple fix” to restore the missing standard. The board adopted the ordinance by emergency provision so that the effective date would align with the earlier ordinance’s schedule.
There was no public testimony on the item. The vote was recorded as unanimous in favor of the emergency ordinance.
