- Approved the purchase of two used Bluebird buses at $49,100 each; buses include three-year warranty and Cummings engines. (Motion approved by voice vote.)
- Approved renewal/placement of district CDs with Cornerstone Bank at a 6-month rate (4.53%) for roughly $425,000 in district funds. (Motion approved by voice vote.)
- Approved legal liability insurance from Cadence Insurance (coverage continues for staff protection). (Motion approved by voice vote.)
- Approved two middle school field trips (Springfield, Mo. and Silver Dollar City) and a personnel slate of hires and resignations as presented. (Motions approved by voice vote.)
Where the transcript contained only a voice vote or an "all in favor" call, the record above notes the approval without a roll-call tally. Board members asked staff to return with engineered drawings and bid results, to monitor vendor performance on custodial services and to provide bid tabulations for the safety projects before awarding contracts.
