RTC asks North Las Vegas CAC to share Nellis-area transportation study during final comment period

Cody Stover of the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada gave the committee a public‑comment reminder near the end of the March 4 meeting. "We now have the study draft final report available for public review and comment," Stover said, and he asked committee members to share the link or QR code with residents in the study area.
Stover said the study covers an area around Nellis Air Force Base extending west to I‑15 and south toward Lake Mead and that RTC conducted two survey rounds with more than 2,000 participants during the study. He summarized the draft findings: "People want safer roads and intersections, new pedestrian, bicycle friendly elements throughout the study area, and enhanced transit routes and stops." Stover said the comment period was closing the following day at 6 p.m. and directed listeners to RTC's website (r t c s n b dot com slash Nellis) for the draft report and submission instructions.
No committee action was taken on the study during the meeting; the statement functioned as a public‑comment update and a request to distribute the study to residents for input before the deadline.
