The City of San Benito Commission on March 4 approved a professional engineering services agreement with Tri Med Consultants LLC for the Ratliff Waterline Improvement Project.
The motion to approve was made by Commissioner Goodman and seconded by the Mayor Pro Tem; Commissioner Morales registered the lone recorded “nay.” The motion passed on a voice vote.
City staff said the item had been discussed in executive session; the public-record motion approved a project agreement to proceed with engineering services. No dollar amount for the contract or a project schedule was read into the open meeting record.
Commissioners did not take action on the related agenda item 3 during the same portion of the meeting. The commission adjourned at 6:42 p.m.
City staff said they will return with contract documents and scheduling details as the project moves from consultant selection to design and permitting.
