Williamson County court approves minutes, funding report and multiple consent items; auditor issues corrections

On March 4, 2025, the Williamson County Commissioners Court approved its meeting minutes, accepted a county funding report, and adopted a series of consent agenda items including agenda items 3 through 21 and 22 through 26 and 29 through 33, all by unanimous vote.

County Auditor Julie Kiley appeared in place of Nathan Zinzenmeyer and told the court she had provided corrected materials to commissioners. She summarized the March 4 funding report and a corrected "summary of additional transactions," saying the March 4 funding report totaled $6,723,746.87. After correcting addendum entries (including payments related to the county purchasing card program), the summary of additional transactions totaled $553,571.34, bringing a combined total funding figure noted to $7,277,318.21.

"The copy I placed before you is the correct one," Kiley told the court and noted the corrections were made the morning of the meeting. The court voted on the funding report following a motion by Commissioner Covey and a second by Commissioner Cook; the motion passed unanimously as recorded in the public session.

Earlier in the meeting the court moved to approve the minutes (motion by Commissioner Cook, second by Commissioner Boltz) and accepted other routine business. Later the court moved to adopt multiple grouped items by unanimous vote (items 3–21, and items 22–26 and 29–33). The motions were presented as grouped consent items and recorded as passing unanimously; no recorded roll‑call vote with individual names was provided in the transcript for those grouped motions.

The court recessed to executive session at about 10:06 a.m. to discuss real estate and economic development negotiations and reconvened at 10:50 a.m.; the presiding judge stated there was no action following executive session and adjourned the meeting at 10:51 a.m.
