Commission approves February minutes and adjourns; other items were informational

At the March 3 meeting the Parks and Recreation Commission adopted a motion to approve the February 3 meeting minutes and later approved a motion to adjourn; both actions were routine and recorded without roll-call tallies.
During the minutes approval item a commissioner moved to approve the February 3 minutes; another commissioner seconded the motion and the chair called the vote. The commission voted in favor (‘‘Aye’’) and the motion carried. At the end of the meeting a commissioner moved to adjourn, the motion was seconded, the commission voted ‘‘Aye’’ and the meeting was adjourned.
The remainder of the agenda consisted of informational presentations on Brown Act compliance, park development, district maintenance and contract compliance, the spring/summer events program and adaptive programming. No other formal actions were taken during the meeting.
