The consent agenda was moved and seconded and approved unanimously. Ms. Wheeler called the roll: Renee Diamond, Matt Coleman, Carolyn Ingram, Andy Lay, Peggy Pesterfield, Jody Riggins and Nate Tucker were recorded as voting yes; the chair declared the motion passed.
Later in the meeting, the board reviewed a proposed Director of Schools Evaluation Instrument. After discussion of the instrument's similarity to prior years and how ratings will be collected, a motion to accept the instrument was moved and seconded. Ms. Wheeler called the vote; board members recorded yes votes and the motion passed.
These actions were procedural approvals necessary to advance other items on the agenda and to begin the evaluation timeline for the director. The board did not take final action on the bus patrol proposal; that item was tabled for additional contract and legal review and will return to a future meeting.
