Commission leadership clarified that the ad hoc’s charge is specifically to recruit for the currently open youth commissioner seat and to recommend a candidate.
Motion and result: Chair Cowell moved to appoint Commissioner Albaher and Commissioner Delafos to the ad hoc; Commissioner Molina seconded. The motion passed by voice vote.
Next steps: the ad hoc will begin outreach and return recommendations to the full commission.
