The Town of Payson Planning and Zoning Commission approved the minutes from its Feb. 3 meeting and received staff updates on upcoming agendas and project status at its March 3 session.
A commissioner moved to approve the Feb. 3, 2025 minutes without changes; the motion was adopted without recorded opposition.
Staff told commissioners the April meeting will include a rezoning request tied to the Mountain View subdivision, and that the May meeting will include at least the Ponderosa Pines second preliminary plat extension. Staff also noted a joint meeting with the Airport Commission is scheduled for May 12 at 5 p.m. in Council Chambers.
Project updates provided in staff materials included: Discount Tire awaiting building and civil plan submittals; U‑Haul had resubmitted design review materials and expects to move to building plan submittal; the Longhorn Ranch planned area development zone change will be on a future agenda when a full submittal is received; the Vistas at Payson tiny-home project is expected to submit a lease soon; the airport RV park and a golf course development agreement remain in progress.
Staff said training videos are being circulated to commissioners and another in the series will be sent with the next update.
The commission adjourned after taking the listed actions.
