METS to host ATM Express machine at terminal; city to receive $1 per $3 transaction

The City of Evansville board on July 3 approved an agreement allowing ATM Express to place an automated teller machine at a METS terminal. Rick Wilson, METS superintendent, told the board the machine will be installed on the exterior of the Greyhound Lounge area for patrons and passengers to use.
Wilson said ATM Express will be responsible for servicing and replenishing the machine. “Of the $3 transaction fee, the METS will receive a dollar,” he said.
The board approved the agreement by voice vote after a motion and second were recorded; the transcript does not identify the individual mover or seconder. No start date for installation was given in the discussion.
Wilson also answered questions about METS fleet maintenance during the item; he said newer buses have lowered the system’s average mileage and that METS runs a 5,000‑mile oil change maintenance program.
