The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners on June 24 approved a batch of administrative items that were not pulled for separate discussion. The approved items included an amendment to a joint powers agreement with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs and a sole-source agreement with the Metropolitan Council for the MetroPASS employee program.
Commissioners voted by roll call to approve the remaining administrative items after several items had been pulled for separate conversation. Miller, Moran, Zhong, Jevin Singh, McGuire, McMurtry and Ortega voted in favor.
The board recorded acceptance of a legislative grant for a capital area public safety and livability initiative in the same motion. Details for the grant award and contract citations were included in the meeting packet; specific grant citation numbers were not read into the record during the vote.
Commissioners set aside several items for later discussion and separate votes, including the county’s performance measurement program, an inmate communications contract, a micro-market services agreement, and two youth justice grants.
