The City Council unanimously adopted an ordinance vacating a portion of a 20‑foot public utility and drainage easement located within Lot 21, Fort Malabar Unit 46.
Staff reported no adverse comments and said easement users and potential partners, including Florida Power & Light, AT&T and Spectrum, raised no objections. The property owner, Giovanna Alonzo Cabrera, spoke briefly and told council she had nothing further to add.
With no public opposition, Councilman Johnson moved to approve and the ordinance passed unanimously. Council congratulated the resident and noted the property owner may proceed with private construction consistent with the ordinance.
