Pamela Nichols, council management analyst, summarized current and projected vacancies through November, including one vacancy for a towing and recovery operator on the advisory board for assessment of towing fees and vehicle storage (application from Tabitha Sheeran), vacancies on the Community Criminal Justice Board (one public defender slot and three at‑large slots; reappointment applications from Tracy Painter and David Smith), and five vacancies on the Richmond Ambulance Authority for which reappointment applications were received for all five seats.
Committee action - The committee approved the minutes from the Public Safety Standing Committee meeting of 06/24/2025 as presented. - The committee voted to forward the vacancy recommendations to the full council.
