SAFCA board approves $6.4 million FY25–26 operations assessment for O&M district; resolution adopted unanimously

The Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency board on July 17 adopted Resolution No. 2,526,086 approving the supplemental assessment roll and setting the FY25–26 assessment rate for SAFCA’s operations and maintenance Assessment District No. 1 at $6,400,000.
Executive Director Jason Campbell presented the assessment-district report and said the district funds SAFCA’s general operations under the Water Code. SAFCA opened a public hearing on the supplemental assessment role; staff reported no written or in-person public comments.
A board member moved to open and close the public hearing and move the item. The board then voted to adopt the resolution; the roll call was recorded as "aye," with no opposed votes and no abstentions.
Earlier in the meeting the board also approved consent matters numbered 1 through 11; no items were pulled for separate consideration.
